They're unable to do the mechanics, get frustrated and look for a cause other than them failing the mechanics. Your group should never wipe because you're not able to use time warp. Kicking you for it seems like a dick move though. If you're unsure about when to use it because you're unfamiliar with the dungeon, you can always ask at the start of the instance when the group wants you to time warp. If you see you'll be able to use it twice during the dungeon, you can use it on the first and lass boss as well. If you do not have the debuff, your cast of time warp will not apply the debuff to yourself, allowing you to still benefit from another player’s bloodlust effect. The debuff remains at its original time, and your time warp will apply the haste buff to yourself even if you are debuffed. In dungeons it's used on the harder bosses, while keeping an eye on the cooldown as well. Or does the debuff remain as original time. During current content raids it's used most of the time when the DPS have a lot of time to actually dps without dealing with too many mechanics. Generally speaking, you use Time Warp whenever you want to burst down the boss. Our group managed to pull a whole bunch of mobs, which made me pop time warp to avoid a wipe. I used it once this week when doing the Stonecore in the hall with all the scouts that spot you and call their allies. To be fair, in timewalking it doesn't really matter. Can someone tell me what I did wrong? How can I know exactly when to use Time Warp?ĮDIT: I did the last two remaining dungeons I needed using the tips you guys gave me, and we breezed through it! Thanks everyone! I think I am a better mage already. The reason it's bad to use at the wrong time is that players can only get the buff once every 10 minutes. It just doesn't matter that much in anything less than a M+5 or so, and you're more than likely going to have at least one mage/shaman in any raid group you might join. You can just ask your group at the story of a dungeon/boss for when to 'lust' (same ability as timewarp, most people just refer to it as that) or to call for it when they want it. Damned if I do, damned if I don't, I thought.Īnd it happened the next dungeon to, after which I promptly gave up for the night. You can either buy some drums or just learn to deal with the fact that you won't always have a mage/shaman available. I phased into Grim Batol, skimmed the adventure guide mechanics, waited for the right moment when the tank engaged the boss. ( 10 minute debuff ) After recalling dying to the last boss in that dungeon due to its mechanic last time, I decided to save it for that, but it seems I was mistaken? I managed to gather from the person that I whispered, that I should use Time Warp at the start of each boss or difficult phase. After doing research before running TWs, I came to the conclusion that I should save Time Warp for hard bosses, especially if a group is breezing through the dungeon like that one mentioned above. Before the last boss I suddenly was faced by a loading screen and upon asking one of the people in the group what had happened, they told me that they kicked me for not using time warp. Still the instance chat was filled with insults and the like, which at the time I was not aware were directed at me. The first one was Vortex Pinnacle We were doing well on damage and did not wipe once.

Last night, I was running some time walking dungeons to complete the quest for finishing five of them. Thanks in advance, i wish to keep my raid spot.Hi guys. Warp the flow of time, increasing haste by 30 for all party and raid members for 40 sec.Allies will be unable to benefit from Bloodlust, Heroism, or Time. Would fire do better in these two bosses ? I found myself struggling in MOTHER and Zek'voz fight.
WOW MAGE TIME WARP WORTHLESS TRIAL
How do frost mage compare to Fire in term of dps in Mythic Raiding ? I'm a trial on 3/8M guild. When you have icy veins up + Mage Ignition trinket buff + Time Warp up and then you all the procs up at 2 Icicles, what should you do ? Spent all the procs right away ? Flurry - Ice Lance - Ice Lance ? OR Flurry - Ice Lance - Frostbolt - Ice Lance ? If you have 2x Finger Frost Proc, what would you do ? Cast it twice in a row ? or Ice Lance - Frostbolt/Ebonbold - Ice Lance again ? How many Ice Lance do you cast after Flurry(Brain Freeze) ? I always cast Ice Lance twice in a row I do read and use Icy Veins + WoWhead as a guidelines, but i cant find the answer regarding this situation. Dps feels like kinda low, i'm trying to find out what i did wrong. I'm current ilvl 378 but i dont think i pulled my weight in raid.
